What is the “Daily Shifts” section for

The “Daily Shifts” section allows you to view, create, modify, duplicate, and delete the daily work shifts assigned to staff.


How to access Daily Shifts


  1. Log in with a Coordinator account.


  1. Enter the desired facility.


  1. From the side menu, click on “Staff”“Daily Shifts”.


A screen will open with the list of already created shifts.


For each shift, the following details will be visible:


Shift Name.


Shift Code (if present).


Abbreviation (three-letter identifier for the shift).


Sections associated with it.


Shift Time (time slot).


Break Time (if applicable, with duration).


Three action icons: Edit, Duplicate, Delete.


How to create a new daily shift


  1. Click on the ”+ New” button at the top right.


  1. The “New Daily Shift” screen will open, where you will need to fill in the following fields:


Name – Name of the shift ( mandatory field).


Abbreviation – Three-letter identifier for the shift ( mandatory field).


Code – Required code, for example, for the labor consultant ( optional field).


Description – Detailed description of the shift.


Shift Start – Start time ( mandatory field).


Shift End – End time ( mandatory field).


Sections – Sections to associate with the shift.


Break – Select the toggle to enable the break. If activated, it will be mandatory to enter break start and end time.


  1. Click on the “Save” button at the top right to confirm.


• To cancel, click on “Cancel”.


How to modify a daily shift


  1. In the list, find the shift to modify.


  1. Click on the pencil icon ✏️.


  1. The “Edit Daily Shift” screen will open, where you can update the previously entered fields.


  1. After making the changes, click on “Save”.


• To cancel, click on “Cancel”.


How to delete a daily shift


  1. In the list, find the shift to delete.


  1. Click on the trash can icon 🗑.


  1. A confirmation message will appear:


“Do you confirm you want to delete this item?”


  1. To permanently delete, click on “Delete”.


• To cancel the operation, click on “Cancel”.


How to duplicate a daily shift


If you need to create multiple similar shifts (e.g., only the abbreviation and times change), you can duplicate an existing one.


  1. In the list, find the shift to duplicate.


  1. Click on the copy icon 📄.


  1. The “Duplicate Daily Shift” screen will open, with all fields pre-filled.


  1. Modify the necessary details, such as:


Shift Name.


Abbreviation.


Shift Code (if necessary).


Description.


Start and End Times.


Assigned Sections.


Break, if present.


  1. Click on “Save” to confirm.


• To cancel, click on “Cancel”.
